What is a Makerspace?
Makerspaces are community centers which have popping up all over the world for decades and have gained popularity since the maker movement began in the early 2000’s. Each space has it’s own mission driven by the communities they serve.
The Mars Labs Makerspace mission is to make tools and technology available to the community of Hardy County, WV in order to inspire the locals, who come from all over the country and bring with them a diverse wealth of knowledge and experience, to network, collaborate, and create things.
